TASK 13: Do you know...

...the oldest wheel, believed to have been made by the Alekern tribe from wood, was found by the Slovenian archeologist Janez Dirjec in 2002 at the Ljubljana Marshes (Ljubljansko barje)? I believe that most of us don't know that. Do you think it could prove that Slovenian people have engineering in their genes?

I think that engineers are always individuals. It could happened that the first wheel was made by our engineers.

Yeah that can happened in Slovenia but still I can’t believe that our engineers made first wheel

Marcel, do you really believe that Slovenes are not intelligent enough? What about you, Matej and me?

It is possible that they were one of the first, that used a wooden wheel, but I am sure they were not the only that made it.

Of course they were not the only ones; luckily there are, besides the crazy ones, many clever people in this world.

We all have special abillities.
It is possible that was made in Slovenia. But we know that people travell all the time and even now Slovenia is not a proper country for engineers. That is why clever engineers are all over the world. Our Slovenian people are in NASA, Mercedes factory and many more, but it is connected with hard work not with genes!

Well, if all the clever engineers are in other countries, than Slovenia is waiting for you!
