TASK 15: Newton

The inventor of a cat flap, Sir Isaak Newton, is famous for his theory of gravitation. How would you explain gravitation to a child of 10 to 12 years of age? The explanation should be simple.

The gravitation is something that pull you near source of gravity. Beacause of it we can't fly, it also make us weight some pounds. Gravity hold us to the ground, so when we jump, we actually don't fly in the space but fall back with force.

Whenever you jump into air, you will always fall down to the ground (if you grab something and hang in air than you wont fall until you release it). Its all because of gravity.

In the outer space there is no gravitation; this is why you can not walk normally - you have difficulties touching the ground and you float in the air.
